Getting Started

How do I create an account?
  1. Click "Sign Up" or "Post Ad" button in the header
  2. Fill in your details (name, email, password)
  3. Check your email for verification link
  4. Click the verification link to activate your account
  5. Log in and complete your profile

Note: Email verification is required before you can post ads.

I didn't receive the verification email

If you didn't receive the verification email:

  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Wait 5-10 minutes (sometimes there's a delay)
  • Make sure you entered the correct email address
  • Contact support@auslankaservices.com if still not received
How do I set up my profile?

Complete your profile to build trust with clients:

  1. Log in and go to "Edit Profile" from the dashboard
  2. Add a professional photo (recommended)
  3. Fill in your bio and experience
  4. Add your skills and qualifications
  5. Upload portfolio images (up to 6)
  6. Add business details (ABN, website if applicable)

Tip
Profiles with photos get 3x more views!

For Advertisers

How do I post an ad?
  1. Click "Post Ad" button (you must be logged in)
  2. Fill in the ad details:
    • Title (clear and descriptive)
    • Category (select appropriate category)
    • Description (detailed information about your service)
    • Pricing (hourly rate, fixed price, or contact for quote)
    • Location (where you provide service)
  3. Upload photos (up to 5 images, max 5MB each)
  4. Review and submit
  5. Your ad will be reviewed (usually within 24 hours)
Why is my ad under review?

All ads go through our smart moderation system to ensure quality and safety:

  • Auto-approval: Quality ads are approved automatically (usually instant)
  • Manual review: Some ads need human review (within 24 hours)
  • Rejected ads: You'll receive an email explaining why

Tips for quick approval: Clear title, detailed description, no spam keywords, professional photos

Can I edit or delete my ad?

Yes! You have full control over your ads:

To edit: Go to Dashboard → My Ads → Click on ad → Edit

To delete: Go to Dashboard → My Ads → Click delete icon

Note: Edited ads may need re-approval if significant changes are made.

What photo requirements do you have?

Photo guidelines:

  • Format: JPEG, PNG, or WebP
  • Size: Maximum 5MB per image
  • Quantity: Up to 5 photos per ad (Free plan: 1 photo)
  • Quality: Clear, professional, well-lit photos
  • Content: Relevant to your service (no stock photos)

Using the Platform

How do I find services?

Multiple ways to find what you need:

  1. Browse All: Click "Browse All" to see all services
  2. By Category: Use category links (Jobs, Property, Business, etc.)
  3. Search: Use the search bar at top of any page
  4. Filter: Filter by location, price, rating
How do I contact a service provider?

Two ways to contact providers:

  1. Premium ads: Phone number and email visible - click "Call" or send email
  2. Free ads: Use the contact form on their profile page

Can I leave reviews?

Yes! Reviews help build trust in our community:

  • You can leave one review per service provider
  • Rate from 1-5 stars and add a comment
  • Reviews are public and help others make decisions
  • Be honest, fair, and constructive

How do payments work?
  • All plans are billed monthly
  • We accept all major credit cards through Stripe
  • Secure payment processing (we don't store card details)
  • Automatic renewal each month
  • You can cancel anytime
Can I change plans?

Yes! You can upgrade or downgrade at any time:

  • Upgrade: Changes take effect immediately, charged pro-rata
  • Downgrade: Takes effect at end of current billing period
  • Cancel: Your plan remains active until the end of billing period
What is your refund policy?

We offer a 7-day money-back guarantee for first-time Premium or Featured subscribers:

  • Request refund within 7 days of first payment
  • Full refund, no questions asked
  • Contact support@auslankaservices.com to request
  • Refunds processed within 5-7 business days

Note: Subsequent renewals are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime.
